Delete your account and data
How to delete your QuoteAI account from the app or the website, what is erased, what the law makes us keep, and how to change your mind within 7 days.
Delete it yourself
- Sign in — in the QuoteAI app, or at quoteai.ca on any browser (you don't need the app).
- Open Settings → Sign-in & security, then Delete account at the bottom.
- Type DELETE and your password to confirm. You are signed out everywhere right away.
What happens
- You have 7 days to change your mind: the confirmation email has a cancel link. After that, deletion is final.
- If the account owns a company: the subscription is cancelled, connected services (calendar, accounting, WhatsApp, bank) are disconnected, and every quote, client, job, photo and document is erased. Team members lose access the same day.
- If you are a team member: your login is removed and you are taken off every team. The companies' own data is not affected.
- The legal exception: signed contracts and issued invoices are kept for 7 years, unlinked from your profile, because the CRA and Revenu Québec require it — then deleted.
Can't sign in?
Email privacy@quoteai.ca from the address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. We confirm it is you, then delete it the same way.
